Rob’s passion for landscape design began when he was a child growing up in America’s mid-west (suburb of Chicago). He fondly recounts memories of summers spent exploring the Great Lakes’ vast eco systems and says that these experiences inspired his deep connection with nature and love of "all things outdoors." Over time, Rob’s enthusiasm developed and matured – so much so, that he earned his degree in architecture from Arizona State University and certification in landscape design. He is also a certified L.I.T.E. Installer, ICPI installer, Aquascape Contractor, and Desert Landscaper (by Desert Botanical Gardens). However, Rob is quick to point out that his past - and ongoing - success is not only due to his commitment to his architectural roots and unbridled zeal for his chosen field, but also as a result the inspiration he’s derived from his extensive overseas travels, passion for Cote de Sol, and his ten plus years of time spent living and working in the Arizona desert. Today, in addition to his work as a landscape designer, Rob is also a partner in the award-wining, Phoenix-based business, DesertDesigner Landscape and Development Company. And although he is understandably proud of his many notable career achievements (which include the landscape redesign of the local CBS’s courtyard for its morning show and an international hotel project in Morocco) he is most pleased to have helped countless Arizonians transform their personal visions into beautiful, practical, and affordable outdoor living spaces.
